Taylor Heissenbuttel

Arizona State University Master Social Work Intern Fall '23/Spring '24

I am a dedicated MSW student at Arizona State University, driven by a passion for social work and a deep commitment to serving communities, particularly individuals with disabilities. Growing up in Sonoma County, I was inspired by the spirit of community and the need for advocacy. This passion led me to participate in impactful projects such as the San Angelo Advocacy for Access project and the Koret research project, where I gained valuable experience in advocating for marginalized groups.

My ultimate goal is to obtain my LCSW after completing graduate school, as I aspire to establish my own practice focused on supporting at-risk youth and individuals coping with acute trauma. I believe in providing holistic and compassionate care to empower individuals to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives. Through my education and experiences, I am dedicated to making a positive impact and fostering resilience in the lives of those I serve.
